“Days of Our Lives” fans prepare to say goodbye to Martha Madison as Belle Black-Brady. Belle will be gone from “DOOL” before the end of the month. She’ll reportedly head to China where she’ll be doing work for Chad DiMera’s company.
“Days of Our Lives” fans are still reeling from all the former cast members who are returning for the big 50th anniversary celebration, and now it’s been confirmed that Martha Madison will return to Salem as Belle Black-Brady as well.
‘Days of Our Lives’: Martha Madison Returning as Belle
According to Soap Opera Digest, Martha Madison revealed during her radio show Soapbox With Lilly and Martha that she will return to “Days of Our Lives” as Belle Black and she will begin airing in November. Fans can also expect Belle’s husband Shawn Brady, played by Jason Cook, as well as their daughter Claire back home as well.
Shawn and Belle Coming Home to Salem
“Days” fans may remember that Martha took over the role from Kirsten Storms, who now resides on General Hospital, but left when Shawn and Belle decided to take off on their boat with Claire and sail around the world. Fans are now hoping that Belle and Shawn may stick around for a while as they were one of the most beloved characters in the soap’s history.
Is Days of Our Lives getting yet another beloved character back? While Jason Cook has already been confirmed to return as Shawn Brady, and producers are casting a teenage girl to play Claire Brady, fans are wondering if Shawn’s wife, Belle Black-Brady, will also return to the show for the 50th anniversary celebration and signs are pointing to yes.
